Dr. Gustavo A. Tolosa, Piano
Dr. Tolosa holds a Doctorate in Music in Piano Performance from the renowned Eastman School of Music (Rochester, New York). Dr. Gustavo Tolosa, Piano, Founder and Director of
"Musica for the World", is an active concert pianist, teacher and
adjudicator of national stature, originally from Argentina. Dr. Tolosa is included in the publication "Outstanding Musicians
of the 20th Century" and in the 2011 Edition of "Who's Who in America."
He is also the Director of the Arts Academy at Brookhaven College in
Farmers Branch, Texas. Dr. Tolosa is a member of the Music Teachers
National Association, the Texas Music Teachers Association and the
Dallas Music Teachers Association.
Mary LeBus,
Harp
Mary LeBus lives in Dallas, where
she plays for weddings,
Christenings, church services, parties, and does a variety of musical
programs
for adults and children.
She plays for people who are undergoing stressful life
circumstances such as those in hospitals and hospice, and is a Certified
Harp
Practitioner.
She teaches and loves to share the joy of music and the harp
with people of all ages and musical backgrounds.
Raquel Rigotti-Tolosa, PianoMs. Rigotti received her musical training in Argentina
where she studied at the "Beethoven" Conservatory of Music and then with
Maestro Emilio Alessio. She has been teaching children and adults for
40 years. Presently, she teaches piano at Brookhaven College and at
"Musica for the World." She performs often with her son Gustavo Tolosa
as a mother/son piano duo.
Amy Weathersby, Piano and Early ChildhoodAmy McClung Weathersby grew up surrounded by
professional musicians. She studied piano, violin, and voice at
University of Louisiana Monroe and went on to study Child Development
Specialization and Early Childhood Education at Texas Tech and the
University of North Dakota. She became certified and licensed in
Kindermusik and later taught Musikgarten at Brookhaven College in
Dallas, Texas. She has a gift for relating to and
connecting with children and longs to make a difference in their lives
through music. Currently living in Shreveport, Louisiana with her new
husband and his daughter, she is realizing that longing with Musical
Angels at Hal Sutton Children's Hospital and private lessons in her piano
studio. She believes all children deserve a chance to take part in
music and its making. Amy is a member of the Music Teachers National
Association, the Louisiana Music Teachers Association and the Greater
Shreveport Music Teachers Association. She is an active member of Rose
Park Baptist Church where she sings in the choir.
